Has surfing got you feeling sore, especially after putting on the thicker neoprene this winter?
Yoga is an extremely beneficial practice for surfers. From full body stretching to strengthening poses, yoga can help you recover after a big swell, or just help keep you strong for upcoming waves.
Join us for Yoga for Surfers, February 15th, at 5:30 pm (doors open at 5 pm) at Warm Winds Surf Shop. Donna Russo, local yoga instructor, and Warm Winds employee, will guide us through a one-hour class, focusing on surf specific muscle groups to help re-balance your body.
This will be a donation-based class, 100% of donations will be donated to The Australian Red Cross Disaster Relief and Recovery, helping support communities to rebuild after the bushfire crisis. We suggest that each attendee donate $5-$10.
After class, we will be offering snacks, local wine from Gooseneck Vineyards, Fully Rooted Kombucha, and discounted Lava Rubber X Warm Winds upcycled changing mats, and yoga mats.
Dress comfortably, and if able, please bring your own yoga mat. We will have several extras, as well as mats for purchase.
We look forward to seeing you at the shop!
LET US KNOW YOUR COMING!
We are not sure exactly what to expect for a turnout, so by registering now you are guaranteed a spot for your yoga mat if we hit capacity!
