Warm Winds is looking for a Boardroom Manager to join our growing team!
We are looking for an energetic, positive, and self-motivated individual who is passionate about the ocean and dedicated to the surfing lifestyle.
As Boardroom Manager, you will:
Work primarily in our boardroom - assisting customers with hardgood purchases, including surfboards, wetsuits, dive gear, skateboards, etc.
Support seasonal staff and assist with training on HG products + sales.
Be tasked with performing basic surfboard repair
Assist the hardgoods buyer in formulating buy plans and identifying products to bring into the store. Create strategies to ensure the store has the right inventory levels at all times. Analyze sales data to determine which items should be stocked and in what quantities. Monitor trends to ensure the store is up-to-date with the latest products.
Assist the Marketing Director with writing and creating content for marketing and e-commerce materials, including blog posts, product images, product reviews, and other materials as needed.
Assist with conducting inventory checks and maintaining inventory records
Collaborate with store leadership to achieve performance goals
Receive and process hardgoods shipments
Requirements
Surfing experience and a passion for the lifestyle
Ability to work 30+ hours per week
Available to work at least one weekend day
Ability to effectively communicate with customers and employees
Ability to use Microsoft Excel + other Office Tools
Also a plus
Basic ding repair knowledge
Knowledge of surfboards, design, materials, and construction
Retail experience
College degree or equivalent
