Warm Winds is currently looking for a technical hardgoods sales associate to join our boardroom sales team.
We are looking for an energetic, positive, and self-motivated individual who is passionate about the ocean and dedicated to the surfing lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Providing knowledgeable, enjoyable, and friendly service to customers
- Assisting customers in finding the right product to meet
their needs and skill level
- Keeping customers informed on proper use of equipment and any
crucial/secondary gear that may be needed
- Assisting with custom orders and inventory inquiries
- Maintaining the store by keeping it clean and organized
- Processing sales transactions in a quick, accurate and
personable manner
- Receiving, checking, and merchandising new product coming into the store

Requirements
- Retail experience preferred
- Above average surfboard and wetsuit knowledge
- Eager to continue learning about the newest models and equipment
- Excellent organizational skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Must perform well under pressure, be able to prioritize competing tasks, and schedule time wisely
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Expected to work weekends and some holidays
