Lesson Duration + Timing
60 minutes total, which includes short beach lesson ahead of hitting the water.
Please show up at the beach at least 20 minutes before lesson start to ensure you don't miss any time!
We cannot push a lesson later due to late arrivals.
Beach Admissions + Parking Fee's
Warm Winds is permitted to teach at Narragansett Town Beach, but the Town charges its own admission and parking. These are not included in your lesson price.

$10 weekdays · $15 weekends
BEACH ADMISSION
$12 per person. Kids under 11 free
Local tip: Parking along the Sea Wall is free — but spots fill fast. Come early.

Full Charge
No refund, no reschedule. No exceptions. We've held the spot and the instructor.
If the surf is unsafe, we'll reach out the morning of your lesson to reschedule or refund — that's on us, not you. For more on our cancelation policy + other info, head over here.
What to Bring
Wear your swimsuit + bring some water, sunscreen and a towel! All surfing equipment will be provided. Ability to swim is a requirement.
Equipment
We have a variety of soft surfboards available to fit surfers of all sizes and abilities - from 7’6” through 9’0”. These boards are safe and easy to ride.
Remember, beginner surfers need larger boards to help with stability and popping up. Shorter surfboards are much harder and therefore not recommended for surf lessons.
Wetsuits are available for use, but are not required to wear during the lesson.
